quad-64 CD/DVD

You need to have the appropriate driver modules loaded for whatever
filesystem the CD-ROM is using (ISO9660 etc)
If the user can't access the disk, he/she probably needs to be a part
of an appropriate group, e.g. the "cdrom" group, that owns the CD-ROM
device
