Recommendations Please: Music Player and Library Manager

I have been using Rhythmbox. It is fine, but if there is something 
better I would like to hear what people recommend.

I have a Linux (Ubuntu) server, and I want to put all my CD music on it. 
I record as lossless flac format.

I have two PS3's on my network, also running Ubuntu. I want them to 
access music files on the server.

Google gave me thousands of hits, but focusing on iPod or MP3 servers.

So, any advice?
