Using gmail for mailing lists

Some mailing lists are looking at the Sender field, not the From field.

gmail always puts user-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w at public.gmane.org in the sender field.

So I'm looking for a real simple ajax email client that I can send email
from. I don't want a desktop solution.
