Installing XXX.src.rpm on Mint (Ubuntu)

As of 2.6.22 kernel:

drivers/input/touchscreen/usbtouchscreen.c:     {USB_DEVICE(0x0596,0x0001), .driver_info = DEVTYPE_3M},

So it should already be supported by the usbtouchscreen driver that
comes with a recent kernel.  Just have to figure out how to use it with
X and such.
