Laptop outside -> may cause condensation on hdd when going inside ?

Does that hole permit ambient air into the drive? Or is there a flexible
barrier there, which allows for air pressure differences, without
letting in the outside air? If it allows outside air in, it would also
need a good filter, to keep dust out.
