Linux person uses (tries to use) Mac OS X

Which keyboards are those? Mine has it just fine.

It is the other way around. :-) There *is* a backspace key, 
labelled "Delete". This is just a naming issue (backspace is a 
misnomer anyway, better name will back-delete). Some keyboard 
may missing forward-delete key.
