rrdtool help

I'm not very experienced with rrdtool. I'm trying to extract some data points
at 5 minute intervals.

bash-2.05$ rrdtool fetch ./data/vmstat_all_kthr.rrd AVERAGE -r 300 \
     -s '13:40 21.8.08' -e '14:40 21.8.08' |head

1219340400: NaN NaN NaN
1219340430: NaN NaN NaN
1219340460: NaN NaN NaN
1219340490: NaN NaN NaN
1219340520: NaN NaN NaN
1219340550: NaN NaN NaN
1219340580: NaN NaN NaN
1219340610: NaN NaN NaN

The data is coming out in 30 second intervals and not the 5 minutes that I
expected. What have I missed?
