SSL and Virtual hosts

mod_gnutls is a terrific solution to that very problem, think most major
browsers support it, i.e. IE7 (not 6), firefox 2, safari etc.

I've used it and there's a slight increase in cpu usage with apache, but
that's it. pretty stable as far as i could tell.
