Hi,

My home ISP is Cogeco. On my desktop box (under Knoppix) everything resolves
just fine. It seems to be just a Kubuntu issue, but I couldn't find anything
in the Ubuntu Fora.

Which ISP are you using? The Rogers DNS server of late seems (at least
in my area) to be a pretty sad joke...
