thanks stephen. that taught me quite a bit about spreadsheets -- i
learned how to to makethose dropdown boxes, and how to put conditional
statements into cell formulae. The format still seems a little bit
limited to me -- the dropdown box is a little awkward to navigate; i
feel like i ought to be able to insert other kinds of elements, like
checkboxes. i'm going to look at the forms capabilities of ooo and see
if that provides some extra flexibility...
