If you're using a KVM between the two boxes there are actually KVMs
that switch audio as well as keyboard/video/mouse. But those are
generally home-grade KVMs, which I've come to dislike as being
unreliable. I had an audio-switching 4 port KVM two or three years
ago: it was great for about six months until the KVM started to get a
little quirky. And it was limited to carrying stereo signals - no 7.1
surround.
