It resolves OK ..

abeamish at carbon:~$ host linux.org
linux.org has address 198.182.196.48
linux.org mail is handled by 10 mail.linux.org.

The web server appears to be unhappy -- there's no response to

abeamish at carbon:~$ HEAD www.linux.org

whois.net is too busy to tell me who owns the domain, but since the
name server's head of the domain, no worries. :)
