network cx probs

I have three computers on a network at home. Just three computers into a 
four-port router which goes to the cable modem. Only two machines can 
get on the Internet right now. None of them can rsync (or scp) data 
between them. I am getting 'rsync error: unexplained error (code 130) at 
rsync.c(271) [sender=2.6.9]' and another error: 'Read from socket 
Failed. Connection reset by peer'.

Any ideas?
