TrueType Fonts in Debian

You didn't specify which font you need to install, but Mepis 7.0 which
is now based on Debian Etch (rather than Ubuntu) has a package called
'msttcorefonts' whch will install the following Microsoft fonts:
Andale Mono
  Arial Black
  Arial (Bold, Italic, Bold Italic)
  Comic Sans MS (Bold)
  Courier New (Bold, Italic, Bold Italic)
  Georgia (Bold, Italic, Bold Italic)
  Impact
  Times New Roman (Bold, Italic, Bold Italic)
  Trebuchet (Bold, Italic, Bold Italic)
  Verdana (Bold, Italic, Bold Italic)
  Webdings

I checked and the package is also available in Sid.
