Printing finally works!

I have a different printer story. I have a Canon LBP460 laser printer. It is 
a 'winprinter' and the last drivers Canon produced for it were for Windows95.

There are now Linux divers for it, and Linux uses it as full Postscript 
printer. Networked Windows XP users can now use it as an Apple Laserwriter 
(postscript) printer.

HP 6L printers use the Canon engine, and HP toner cartridges work perfectly.
So Canon and Microsoft tried to lock it up and then abandoned it, but Linux 
and HP allow it to continue.
