I don't have any suggestions per se, but I would mention that I'm on
their mailing list and it does get _some_ traffic.  I only went to one
meeting because I was only one of about eight people and, if I
remember right, we spent most of the night talking about favourite
distros, but I think they're trying to do what they can with what they
have.  Maybe you should post a request for suggestions to their list
and see what you get back?
