OT: How many internal IDE drives maximum off of an ATX power supply?

This information should be printed somewhere in the
fine print on the drive. For example I have an old 15
GB hard drive handy that lists:

  RATED: 5V 300mA, 12V 500mA
 
Or 0.3 Amps at 5V and 0.5 Amps at 12V for that
particular old drive.

The BIG current draw in a typical recent PC will be
the motherboard and the CPU in particular. Some recent
CPU can consume over 100 watts when running under
load...
