gparted?

It shows /dev/sdb as having Partition unallocated, FIlesystem 
unallocated, Size 9.32 GBand no entries for Used, Unused and Flags.

I don't suppose I could use that comfortable gui tool to make it ext3 
and then the data will magically appear in it?
