My guess is that your mobo has automatically switched off the onboard
video - they often do this when you insert a new card that has the
same functionality as something already onboard (I've seen this
particularly with sound cards, but I think I've seen it with video
too).  Go into the BIOS and see if you can turn the onboard video on
again.
