Well I guess to me the computer store should have low prices, large
selection, have things in stock, and not try to sell me something I
didn't ask for. I want to walk in, say the list of parts I want, and
walk out of there happy 5 or 10 minutes later with the stuff for
building the system. :)

I do not generally need to have alternatives recomended to me, because
for the most part I know better than the staff working a computer store.
Sometimes I ask what they would recommend of a couple of options on
things like DVD drives where I don't really care much because it isn't a
very important bit, and canada computers has so far been fine for doing
that.

I know people that hate computer stores that aren't willing to chat and
help them figure out what they want, while to me that's just a waste of
time. Logic computer house is my kind of place (although canada
computers now has a better selection, more locations, and often better
prices), while other people hate going there. Canada computers seems
like a good balance between service and low prices/good selection, while
logic computer house doesn't have a whole lot of service (they are more
like a parts warehouse open to the public).
