I'm not sure I understand what you are suggesting, but nvidia.ko is
located here
/usr/src/modules/nvidia-kernel/debian/nvidia-kernel-2.6.18-4-k7/lib/modules/2.6.18-4-k7/nvidia/nvidia.ko
and here
/lib/modules/2.6.18-4-k7/nvidia/nvidia.ko
