Thanks for the heads-up Chris.  I just spent 30 minutes reverting 
vandalism/spam.  A spammer is still lurking around as they tried to add a 
few while I was reverting.  I'll definitely try to keep more of an eye on 
the site and I'll encourage others to as well.

IIRC the Mediawiki software has a facility for account creation to require 
authorisation.  Should we enable this?
