bit of news regarding the MythTV Zap2it Labs
situation:

So, something is happening on that score, just at the
moment they are not willing to talk details
(unfortunate, but depending on who they are talking to
that could be understandable). So, MythTV fans strap
yourselves down, this may be a bumpy ride :-( .
