compilation error: opal-2.2.5 + g++-3.3.6-8

Hi all,

I get a compilation error from g++ when I try to compile opal with g++. Details:

opal: opal-2.2.5
g++: g++ (GCC) 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-8)
error: g++: Internal error: Killed (program cc1plus)
while compiling file: src/opal/transcoders.cxx

Has anyone seen this and is there a known workaround ?
