I agree with Dave on this one. Especially if we want multiple groups
involved for SFD, now is the time to get the discussion started. Also, if we
want to look at sponsorship for spaces etc, planning now will give us time
to put together a proper package for potential sponsors.

I disagree.. the more planning time the better IMO.. at the very least we 
could have some preliminary talks.
