Nah, you shouldn't if you're watching out for it. When Ubuntu shows you that
little icon in your systray for updates, you can click on it to see what's
available. In the list you'll keep seeing 'gtkpod', just uncheck it. There
should be a way to skip gtkpod when doing updates, but I don't know what that
is on Ubuntu, haven't been using it that long/much.
