You've obviously never tried throwing CDs or DVDs like ninja stars or
frisbees. If you are able to hit the wall right they will explode
(This is assuming a cement/cinder block wall. They will stick into
dry wall). Or just putting them in a microwave. There are also
shredders out there that are rated to do CDs as well as go through
staples and paper clips.
