It's apps all run faster than KDE's equivalents, that's for sure.

Maybe if I dig out my p266 I'd notice a more significant difference.
I've got some notes on doing memory and speed testing which I'd love
to get into but I haven't the time these days.

"alternatives" has been the issue with me.  Most alternatives have
been complete shite.  For the base features I'm seeing with the xfce
apps I'm getting a nice simple design and much more responsive
programs compared to what I'm used to.
