Well if you have the ipw2200 driver (which certainly wasn't part of the
kernel last I checked but available seperately), along with the required
firmware files, then I believe it should work quite well.
On debian the package for the driver is ipw2200-modules-2.6.18-5-686 (or
whichever cpu type the kernel is built for).
