writing to another machine's /dev/ttyS0... how?

Is there an easy way to write to /dev/ttyS0 (dumb serial device)
attached to another machine. On that remote machine, I just do
    cat ... > /dev/ttyS0

But, how do I this from separate machine? I guess, I can use 'inetd'
method, but there has to be better way.
