You missed immature. I think it is fair to call one a Linux fan boy if
they feel the need to frame every issue as a Linux vs. The World
issue, make straw man arguments, and put words in the mouths of their
opponents, perceived or real, to "win". I think it is fair to call
one a clod for attacking a woman's looks rather than her ideas. I
think it is fair to call one ill-informed if one argues based on
conjecture and no basis in fact. I think it is fair to
call "immature" those who promote spamming the Privacy Commissioner's
inbox and fax just because they didn't like what she had to say,
never mind that she didn't say what they think she said.

Is this the Linux Inquisition where I have to defend myself against
charges of heresy? You are misrepresenting the facts when you claim
that "closed and profit-driven" solutions are being promoted over
free solutions. No such thing was done. Besides, "profit" is not a
dirty word. The last time I checked, Red Hat, Novell, Oracle, Cisco,
Sun, Apple, and IBM all made pretty good money on solutions based on
free software (and there is nothing wrong with that).

I doubt you would have made such a "joke" had the Privacy Commissioner
been a man.

I didn't. What part of "I think the reaction of some on this thread
has been immature..." etc., tars everyone with the same brush?
Hint: "some on this thread" is a subset of "everyone".
