Handheld PDA units running Linux (or not)

slightly off thread, but as of this past Friday, there's a software
update that, among other things, supports 2GB RS-MMC cards without
needing a patched kernel upload, according to the release notes.  I
got my 2GB card from PC-Metro, downtown, across from the College St
Canada Computer, for 60 bucks.
