Thunderbird upgrade breaks spellcheck

I think you need either apsell or myspell or both. Pretty sure it is 
aspell. You can also use any dictionary off this page:
http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/dictionaries.html

Hope this helps, I recall having the same problem when I upgraded.
