IPCOP-VPN name resolution

It was my understanding that starting with W2k, MS did not use netbios, but 
rather used wins / dns over IP.
If you have machines using netbios still, you will need to remove netbios and 
setup wins over IP for all network browse requests.

Does linux support netbios?
