[OT] VoIP recommendations

Thanks for the reocmmendations so far. It looks like I may go for
Wireless Nomad[1] for my internet connection.
I'd rather avoid Rogers' phone. For various reasons, but mostly
because it's horiffically expensive and has no options to speak of.
i.e. it has _all_ "options" and no choice in the matter. I looked at
them a while back.. looked through what they were doing. Decided
against them.
I don't need to particularly care about reliability past a certain
functional point. I don't use my phone much. Maybe a few times a
month to be honest. So it seems silly for me to have one that's
"always on" and to be paying for that privaledge. I may just get a
voicemail box of some kind and some sort of skypeout functionality.
