Strangely, I just confirmed that the Rogers wireless internet access
is unmetered for business users, and I'm strongly thinking of jumping
ship so that I can also discard the phone service and get VoIP of some
kind.

I'll start another thread for VoIP services.  I don't know much about
what's out there.
