OT: firefox question

Here's the SQOTD (Stupid Question Of The Day): :-)

What is the difference between "firefox" and "mozilla-firefox" packages??

Ubuntu and Debian have both packages... The "mozilla-firefox" seems to
be the preferred, but why does the other exist?
