FireFox 1.5 Slow

Turn off Java and then get the flashblock extension, and use it. See if 
any of these make a difference. I have seen that more than 80% of sites 
use flash for advertising. The system load is immense. Also Java widgets 
tend to hang around and clog the system without doing anything useful.
