Website mirroring with wget

I have been looking at website mirroring, and at first blush it seems
like wget would be a good tool for this, but I've run into some
problems.  It seems that even with --mirror and -p switches, wget does
not download stylesheets called by the @import convention, nor any
of the files called in such a stylesheet.  Has anyone else encountered
this problem, and do you have a solution?  Thanks.
