amarok and ipods?

Indeed, amarok is a killer app, safely recommendable to people who
aren't geeks.  I've briefly tried it with an iPod shuffle that wasn't
mine and it seemed to work fine.  Setting up automatic transcoding
requires getting a script like transkode installed, some may find that
confusing, but once it's up and running, it's pretty easy to add music
to a device.
