The article was for Tux Magazine, so it had to be a
simple install or it wasn't going to be published.
There is NO way I could have sold my editor on a
MythTV install under say Debian... crass realities
intrude on writing...

True, do NOT try MythTV with any Pentium II (or older)
CPU. Many Pentium 3 CPUs are not a realistic choice
MythTV...

Yes, some in Europe joke (not without reason) that
NTSC stands for "Never Twice Same Colour".
