It's pretty stable; on those rare occasions when I need access to
Windows from my desktop (usually to run deviant versions of web
browsers), I can connect to our Windows server with rdesktop...

Oddly enough, this is completely standard behaviour for shells. This
is a roundabout way of saying `don't use combined chains of `&&'s and
`||'s unless you think Gödel's theorem is for sissies'.
