I know this, and I explained it to my wife, but doesn't think it'll be a
big deal.  We might know better, but nothing teaches like experience.  I
can install VMWare later, if she decides that that is what she needs.

So, is Flash on a 64bit machine possible?  If so, how?

I had planned to use testing, yes.  Stable is, um, stable, but it lacks
too many programs and updated features.
