open source pdf writer

Thank you guys for the answers to this question, specially appreciate 
the quickness of the responses. Wasn't expecting so soon!

We look to be a fairly big group now --anybody have any idea how big we 
are. It would help to know on the tlug site how the mailing list is growing.
