Inverting Linux Screen Display

I'm going to be installing a linux workstation in my kitchen (so my wife
can access her database of recipes). In order to save space, I figure I'll
mount an LCD screen under the cupboards so that it can be folded up and
out of the way when not in use. The main problem with this idea is that
the screen will have to be mounted upside down. Does anyone know and easy
way to invert the screen display? I'll likely be using gnome. (If that
helps.)

Thanks.
Stephen
