I'm happy with my "ASUS A8N-E ACPI BIOS Revision 1011-004". The chipset
fan that it came with it was garbage I've replaced it with a heatsink which
seems to work fine.
Had a few issues but they've all cleared up since BIOS update:
- needed reset button following reboot or shutdown
- unknown ide opcode errors for my pata drive
I have one SATA and one PATA drive, both Seagate. System has been up 24
hours a day for quite a while (I think I've had it 6 months).
