There is a huge irony here. Not too long ago, IBM were the main
beneficiaries of the CYA mentality in companies. 'Nobody got fired for
buying IBM' it was said.

Now IBM is backing Linux and Open Source, and they themselves have to deal
with the FUD factor. Indeed, it does seem true: what goes around comes
around.
