In the README that comes with libtrash some of the dangers of using
this are mentioned. Here are two of them:

 - It *can* screw up your system's boot and shutdown procedures.
 - It *can* make your system unusable ...

You may want to checkout that file for more information. It has some
suggestions on getting around some problems associated with
ld.so.preload.
