Fedora Core 3 on ThinkPad R31

If it might be of interest to anyone, I just installed FC3 on a ThinkPad R31
from the CD's,
everything went really fine, I only had to boot with 'linux nofb' to get the
stuff displayed
correctly during installation, then had to configure the CD/DVD-ROM in a
custom rule file in /etc/udev/rules.d, to get the proper device ownership
and links.

I am impressed...
