env bug ?

amarjan at gondolin:~$ cat ./z
#!/usr/bin/env perl foo
amarjan at gondolin:~$ ./z
/usr/bin/env: perl foo: No such file or directory

Doesn't work any better than echo, with the Debian 2.6.10 kernel. ;)
